Walker, Roberts, Mitchell and Johnston All Star Indigenous Selections

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have six Indigenous representatives across both Mens and Womens who will play in next month's Harvey Norman All Stars games against the Maori All Stars. Cody Walker, James Roberts, Latrell Mitchell and Alex Johnston will line up for the Indigenous Mens All Stars while Jasmin Allende and Nakia Davis-Welsh will play for the Indigenous Womens All Stars.

Gagai withdraws from All Star Indigenous Selections

Gagai, who had been a regular member of the Indigenous All Stars team until last season, phoned rival coaches Laurie Daley and David Kidwell on Monday night and told them he didn't want to choose one culture over the other. "I'm extremely proud of both my Torres Strait Island and Maori heritage, and am extremely grateful to have been able to represent both cultures," Gagai said. "It's not the last time I will represent either one, I just can't when they play each other."

Walker withdraws from All Star Indigenous Team

2019 captain Cody Walker has withdrawn from the Indigenous team as he is still recovering from off-season shoulder surgery.
