Bronson Garlick signs for 2026-27
23rd May 2025
The South Sydney Rabbitohs are delighted to announce the signing of local junior Bronson Garlick for the 2026 and 2027 seasons today. Garlick, 29, has played 33 NRL games since making his debut for the Storm against the Eels in round one, 2023.
Garlick, a South Sydney junior from the South Eastern Seagulls club, has been used predominantly as a hooker at the Storm, playing in a preliminary final in 2023 after making his first grade debut as a 27-year-old. He is a premiership winner at the NSW Cup level, winning the NSW Cup premiership and the NRL State Championship with the Bulldogs in 2018. He is the son of former South Sydney first grade player and captain Sean Garlick.
Rabbitohs Head of Recruitment and Retention, Mark Ellison, says Garlick will add depth to the Rabbitohs forwards stocks. "Bronson has been a bit of a journeyman over his career but he has found his way back home to the Rabbitohs for the next two years and we could not be happier to have him coming home," Mr Ellison said. "He brings over 150 games of senior football experience to us and can play hooker, second row or middle, so he also gives us versatility. He comes from a great family - his father Sean had the opportunity to captain the Club and his brother Jackson also played - and we can’t wait to have him back in the fold with us over the next two seasons. We wish Bronson all the best for the remainder of the season with the Storm and we look forward to him returning to us for pre-season training later this year."
