The South Sydney club has announced the following team for the Speedway 9s against Eastern Suburbs at the Showground on Saturday Sep 15 kickoff 8:00pm
The match will be the first ever night rugby league match played in Sydney, power by lamps aggregating 100,000 candle power. South Sydney have chosen two teams, one to play each half. Matches will be played with 9 players, with only one centre and three forwards. Halves will last 20 minutes. A bonus point will be earned when the opposition kicks the ball out on the full. Also a bonus point to the attacking will result if a force occurs by the defending team.
