Special rules similar to previous knock-out competitions are in place. Again the competition will aid the NSWRL player retention fund.
Teams will be elevn a side - five forwards and six backs.
One rule taken from recent meetings with Australian Rules code, is when a ball is kicked into touch (not on the full) a penalty kick will be given to the opposing player nearest the spot.
Games will be played in 4 divisions of 15 minutes, with a interval of 10 minutes at half-time. Teams will be attired in specially selected colours. Matches will be played with a white ball. And P. Delaney hon. sec. of the Referee's Association will announce through a loud speaker items of interest in connection with the play.
South Sydney and Eastern Suburbs are not taking part.
