Taylor Coaching Contract Extension 2008-10
16th January 2008
Rabbitohs Head Coach Jason Taylor has re-signed with the South Sydney Rabbitohs until the end of the 2010 season. Taylor led the Rabbitohs to their first finals appearance in 18 years in 2007, with the Club extending his contract for the next three years. Taylor’s deal is not your ordinary NRL coach’s contract, with key performance indicators in areas such as Membership being added into Taylor’s agreement. Taylor will help to promote SSFC Membership as part of his role with the Club. “I’m really happy here at the Rabbitohs and glad that my future has been sorted out,” Taylor said. “We’ve got a great group of players together, fantastic support staff and a wonderful administration team backing them up. Everyone is working very hard in the pre-season to build on our effort of 2007. “The Club has recognised that the role of an NRL coach is no longer just to win football games and that I can help to promote other areas of the Club such as Membership.
