The Bears played their best 40 minutes of the season against the Vulcans on Saturday. Down 16-12 at the break, Norths scored 42 unanswered points in the second half to win 54-16. "When we left Sydney we knew we had a big task in front of us," Bears coach Wayne Lambkin said. "But we completed all our sets, we kicked and we forced Auckland into mistakes and took advantage of those mistakes. "It was a really well structured second half, probably our best half of the year."
