The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their team to take on the St George Illawarra Dragons in round 25 of the 2009 NRL Premiership this Saturday 29 August at CUA Stadium. Rabbitohs Head Coach Jason Taylor has named the same team that took on the Penrith Panthers last weekend. The Rabbitohs will be helping to raise awareness for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation by wearing special ‘silver ribbon’ jerseys this Saturday night. Major sponsor NAB has kindly forgone their logo’s placement on the Rabbitohs jersey for this final home game to allow the Silver Ribbon and OCRF logos to be displayed.
The South Sydney Football Club also encourages all Members and supporters to come to the game early and support the Rabbitohs Toyota Cup team in their run into the finals for season 2009. The NRL match is scheduled for a 7:30pm kick off with the Toyota Cup match due to begin at 5:15pm. Gates open at 5:10pm. The Rabbitohs NRL side is:
