The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their team to take on the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks in round 26 of the 2009 NRL Premiership this Saturday 5 September at Toyota Stadium. Rabbitohs Head Coach Jason Taylor has named utility Craig Wing on the bench for this Saturday’s game, his final match in the NRL. Taylor has named the same starting line up that defeated the St George Illawarra Dragons last Saturday night, with Wing moving onto the bench to replace Jason Clark. Clark will captain the Rabbitohs Toyota Cup side on Saturday night before heading into the finals the following week. Rabbitohs prop Scott Geddes will play his 100th NRL match this Saturday night, all of which have been in the red and green of South Sydney. Geddes made his debut in the Rabbitohs’ first victory after being readmitted to the competition, against the Canberra Raiders in round two of season 2002. The NRL match is scheduled for a 7:30pm kick off with the Toyota Cup match due to begin at 5:15pm. Gates open at 5pm. The Rabbitohs NRL side is:

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their Toyota Cup team to take on the Melbourne Storm in the first Quarter Final of the 2009 Toyota Cup Finals Series this Friday 11 September at Etihad Stadium. Rabbitohs Toyota Cup Coach Daniel Irvine has named his strongest possible line up for the opening match of the finals with captain Jason Clark, Luke Capewell and Junior Vaivai all selected having had NRL experience this season. Toyota Cup Team of the Year member Malcolm Webster has been named on the wing, with the Toyota Cup’s leading try scorer Kane Morgan named on the other wing.
