South Sydney Rabbitohs’ Beau Champion has been picked in the City Origin representative side for next Friday’s rep matches. Champion will play for City against Country in Port Macquarie, next Friday night, in his first representative match. Champion was pleased about his call up for City. “It’s my first rep selection outside of the Indigenous All Stars earlier this year and it’s honour to get to play in these types of games,” Champion said. “We’ve been playing some good football here at Souths and the performances of all my team mates has helped me earn this selection. “It’s an honour to be able to do this from South Sydney as well. “Port Macquarie is near Kempsey where so much of my family is from and where I spent time growing up so I’m I’ll have heaps of support from them and all the South Sydney Members and fans who live up that way.” Congratulations from everyone connected with the Rabbitohs to Beau on his rep selection.
