The South Sydney Rabbitohs have extended the contract of South Sydney junior Adam Reynolds for two further seasons today, keeping him at the Club at least until the end of the 2015 season. Reynolds, 22, made his first grade debut in round one this season against the Sydney Roosters, and has gone on to become one of the NRL’s most consistent number sevens at this early stage of his career. Reynolds is delighted to have secured his future in the cardinal and myrtle of the Rabbitohs. “I’m really happy to have had my contract extended at the Rabbitohs. It means a lot to me to play for this Club,” Reynolds said. “I’m a South Sydney junior, I live in the area, I’m bringing up my kids here, and I love the Club and everything it stands for. “I’m really grateful to have been given the chance to play first grade this year and hopefully I can continue to play first grade at the Club for many more years to come.” Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire says he’s pleased with the progress of his rookie halfback. “Adam has continued to improve his game each week and has had a really strong year so far in his first season,” Coach Maguire said. “It’s great to be able to keep a local junior with such promise at the Club, especially a man with a young family growing up in South Sydney. “We’re looking forward to working with Adam and watching him further develop his game in the Rabbitohs jersey, as well as growing the Rabbitohs family.”
