Souths put on a powerful performance against the Warriors out west in Perth. It was a record crowd for games in Perth to boot. And the win also cemeted Souths in the 2013 Top 8. Now the focus shifts to guaranteeing a Top 4 birth. 3 more wins.
A great performance by Bryson Goodwin who setup and scored the winning try his double for the game.
Another try on the weekend and we see Mitch Buckett take the lead on the Bears try scoring list with 10 tries.
Another try and Aaron Gray continues to lead the U20 try scorers with tries.
In 1997 as part of the Super League War peace deal Perth Western Reds were sacrificed by News Ltd as they shutdown Perth and the Hunter Mariners to create the Melbourne Storm. 16 years on its becoming evident tha the NRL needs to once again consider expansion into Perth. A 20k bumper crowd is showing that the region needs a team.

With Georg Burgess, Sam Burgess, Goodwin, Inglis and Walker making more that 100+m in the match. Defensively Luke was our best in the tackling raking up 33 tackles.
