We awin and the Rooster loss on the weekend means the Minor Premiership race is in full swing with two rounds to go. Injuries could be a issue as players starting carrying injuries out of the Bulldogs game. Goodwin, Walker and Inglis look like a group of walking wounded. If we can win this weekend against the Wests-Tigers we can secure a Top 2 finish which means we get two home finals.
Its been over 103 years but this weekend could be the first time 4 brothers have played together since the Norman brothers in 1910 for Annandale.
Bears bounced back in style on the weekend with a strong win down in Campbelltown.They have now secured a 2v3 semifinal birth.

Souths Effective 1st tackle for the match improved to a good level of 29.0m from 32.6m last week. And missed tackles dropped to a poor level of 25 missed tackles from 9 last week. With opposition offloads to dropped to 7 after allowing 3 last week.
Looking at our left side defence - Merritt-Goodwin-Sutton-McQueen (1-0-4-1) steady at 6 missed tackles this week. On the right side Farrell-Walker-Reynolds-Teo (2-2-3-4) dropped to 11 from 0 missed tackles last week.
Our go forward improved to 1403m this week. With Merritt making 10+m per run. With Tom Burgess, George Burgess, Sutton and Merritt making more that 100+m in the match. Defensively Te'o was our best in the tackling raking up 32 tackles. With Luke Burgess, Luke, Asotasi, Lowe, Clark and Goodwin not missing a tackle.
