The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their teams to take on the Sydney Roosters in the NRL Season Opener at ANZ Stadium on Thursday 6 March, with the NRL fixture scheduled for an 8:05pm kick off. This is the Rabbitohs 100th premiership match at ANZ Satdium and the opening match of the Ron Coote Cup for 2014. Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire has named a 19-man squad for his side’s first game in the 2014 Telstra Premiership. Lote Tuqiri, Joe Picker, Joel Reddy and Kyle Turner have all been selected in the squad, the first time they have been selected to pull on the cardinal red and myrtle green jersey of South Sydney in a competition match. The NRL match is set to commence at 8:00pm with the Holden Cup fixture due to start at 5:45pm. Keary, Tom Burgess, Grevsmuhl and Clark were unavialble due to injury. The Rabbitohs’ team is:
