Rabbitohs players Greg Inglis and Ben Te’o have today been selected in Mal Meninga’s Queensland Maroons side to take on the New South Wales Blues in State of Origin III in Brisbane on Wednesday, July 9. Inglis will again take his place in the Queensland centres, while back-rower Ben Te’o will start from the bench. The Maroons will be looking to grab their first win of the Series in the match at Suncorp Stadium, after going down to the Blues in Games I and II – New South Wales breaking Queensland’s incredible run of eight straight Series victories. The South Sydney Rabbitohs would like to congratulate our two Maroons representatives and wish them the best in their upcoming match.
Cottrell, Butcher NSWCCC Selections
Rabbitohs U20 player Tevita Cottrell and U18 player Nat Butcher were selected for the NSWCCC U18 Schoolboys team in the U18 Australian Schoolboys championships to be held in Darwin.
Tevita Cottrell was also awarded player of the tornament.
Olive, Hiroti, Coleman, Tufuga NSWCHS Selections
Rabbitohs U20 players John Olive, Liam Coleman and U18 players Hiamona Hiroti and Johnathan Tufuga were selected for the NSWCHS U18 Schoolboys teams in the U18 Australian Schoolboys championships to be held in Darwin.
