The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their teams to take on the Sydney Roosters in round 26 to be played at Allianz Stadium on Thursday 4 September, with the NRL kick off scheduled for 7:45pm. Rabbitohs prop Luke Burgess will play his 50th NRL game this Thursday, having made his NRL debut against the Sharks in round 17, 2011. The Rabbitohs and Roosters will play for the Ron Coote Cup, a trophy which celebrates the career of one of the true legends of Rugby League, and a champion for both clubs, Ron Coote. The Ron Coote Cup is awarded to the team who wins on aggregate score over the two games played between the clubs in the regular season rounds that year.
