What a great Xmas and new years as we all celebrate that we are the Premiers. Xmas gifts have been full of premiers goodies. After so many years of what went wrong and putting all of the red and green gear away for the summer, its been a cardinal and myrtle Xmas. And a day hasn't gone by without a comment, people showing off their premiership tats. Lets the good times roll.
Souths have added two PNG Hunters players into their summer training squad. Thompson Teteh a center and Wartovo Puara a hooker. Good luck to the boys.
Well in 2015 our reserve grade in guaranteed to look completly different to what we ended with in 2014. Over 90% of the squad has been changed with many young hopefuls being given their opportunity to impress.
Only 3 weeks to go for this spectacular way to start the season in a 16 team carnival. I expect the Souths team to made up of a lot of new talent with the main team being readied for the WCC.
I cannot fathom how the NRL Integrity Unit could allow people who serve gaol time to play also immediately after they are released after they suspended Somi Auva'a for 9 months when he wasn't even convicted by teh courts. There needs to be some consistency here in the punishement. Either we accept the court ruling or we basically say goal time means you cannot play the sport for a long time. My proposal is 1 year in gaol means you cannot play RL for 3 years.
