24th June 2015
Well the team got a well rest after the hectioc off season and non stop early season. We now have two weeks then our second bye, so its a important period to sort out negling injuries. After the bye weekend we moved into equal 4th. But still a lot of work to do to make the Top 4.
Greg Inglis stretched out for thie first time this season in full flight during SOO II. Lets hope he has now overcome those injury concerns and ready to rumble.
Dylan Walker got his first taste of SOO coming in as 18th man for SOO II. Lets hope its a sign of things to come.
A large number of players make their return from injury this week. Cottrell, Crichton, WHitelaw, Hughes all have bbeen out for a extended period. Lets hope they now remain injury free for the rest of the year.
No matter which way you look at it playing a SOO at a ground that can hold 100,000 was a great success for the ARLC, when a record crowd turned up to watch the match. Next time we need to play a Affiliate States SOO Victoria v Western Australia curtain raiser.
Signing off for another week - the midweek Cyber View from the Hill
