Inglis Australian Selection

Rabbitohs skipper, Greg Inglis has been selected to represent the Australian Kangaroos in the 2016 Downer Test Match against the New Zealand Kiwis at Newcastle’s Hunter Stadium on Friday, May 6. Inglis has been selected in the centres, in what will be his 35th Test Match for Australia. Congratulations to Greg on his selection for the upcoming Test Match
Brown and Aaron Gray City Origin Selections

Rabbitohs players, Nathan Brown and Aaron Gray, have both been selected to represent City in the 2016 instalment of City v Country this Sunday at Scully Park in Tamworth. The Rabbitohs duo will make their top-flight representative debuts in the annual fixture, adding to their own junior representative experiences. Gray has previously played one game for the NSW under 20s side in 2014, as well as for NSW under 18s in 2012, while Brown pulled on the sky blue of the NSW Residents in 2014. The annual City v Country match will be played this Sunday, May 8, at Scully Park in Tamworth.

Rabbitohs NRL squad member, Michael Oldfield and North Sydney Bears player Samisoni Langi have been selected for Tonga and will play on Saturday, May 7, at Pirtek Stadium and play against Samoa.
Mocidreke Fiji Pacific Test Selection

Talakai Junior Kiwi Test Selection

Rabbitohs NYC player, Siosifa Talakai, has been named in the Junior Kiwis side to take on the Junior Kangaroos at Pirtek Stadium this coming Saturday (May 7) as part of representative round. A hard-running centre/second rower, the Souths Juniors product graduated to the Under 20s from SG Ball, and has recently spent time plying his trade for the North Sydney Bears in the NSW Intrust Super Premiership. Talakai now gets the chance to contribute to the Kiwis in what has fast become a highlight of the representative season when the two junior trans-Tasman rivalry re-ignites. Congratulations to Siosifa on his selection for the Junior Kiwis.
Cottrell, Dokonivalu Fiji Call Ups

Rabbitohs Under 20s player, Tevita Cottrell, has been added to the Fiji ‘Bati’ side to take on Papua New Guinea this Saturday, May 7, at Pirtek Stadium as part of Representative Round. The 108kg centre will take his place on Fiji’s bench wearing the number 16 jersey, and will play alongside another late call up in Jokatama Dokonivalu, who will also start from the bench. Yet to make his first grade debut, Cottrell has played 28 games for South Sydney’s NYC side, scoring five tries in the process. He has previously played representative football for the Australian Schoolboys as well as for the NSW Under 18s – both in 2014. Congratulations to both Tevita and Jokatama on their selection.
