The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their teams for the 35th Charity Shield match against St George-Illawarra at Mudgee Glen Willow Stadium this Saturday 24 February, with the NRL fixture scheduled to kick off at 7:45pm. Inglis, Reynolds, Turner, Murry, Arthurs, Graham, Ta'avale, O'Connor are unavailable due to injury. Rodwell is on representative duties.
Dane Gagai is set to pull on the mighty Red and Green jersey for the first time when the South Sydney Rabbitohs face St George Illawarra Dragons in the Charity Shield. Head Coach Anthony Seibold has named a 21-man squad for the 35th edition of the Charity Shield with Sam Burgess, Dane Gagai, John Sutton, Cody Walker and Braidon Burns set to play their first match of the year. In the first time ever that the unofficial start to the Rugby League season has travelled over the mountains, the Rabbitohs will be looking to secure their sixth straight Charity Shield title
Souths will also play in their alternative stip for this match. Design is based upon a Souths country tour jersey from the 1960's.
