Rabbitohs winger Robert Jennings has been named on the wing to return from a hamstring injury. Hymel Hunt moves to the interchange bench with Dean Britt set to play his first NRL game of the season from the bench. Doueihi, Nicholls, Musgrove, Johnstone, Gagan and O'Connor are unavailable due to injury.

The curtain raiser match at ANZ Stadium will be the Physical Disability Rugby League World Club Challenge between NSWPDRLA premiers, the South Sydney Rabbitohs, and the English champions, the Warrington Wolves. The world's best physical disability Rugby League players will be joined by some celebrity players such as Australian comedian Adam Hills, former Warrington players Andrew Johns and Matt King, as well as former Rabbitohs flyer Bruce Longbottom. The PDRL World Club Challenge trophy will be presented to the victors at the conclusion of the match which is scheduled to kick off at 6.05pm.
