Aqualand Rabbitohs 2024-26 Lower Back Jersey Sponsorship Extension
8th December 2023
The South Sydney Rabbitohs are delighted to announce that leading Australian integrated property, hospitality and investment company, Aqualand, have formally extended their partnership with the Club for another three-year term, taking the partnership to the end of the 2026 season. As the Club’s exclusive property development partner, Aqualand will continue as the lower back of jersey partner and the extension will see our relationship spanning seven years.
Established in Sydney in 2014, Aqualand is a long-time supporter of local arts, sporting and cultural organisations, including the iconic Sculptures by the Sea, Bondi and the Art Gallery of NSW. Aqualand distinguishes itself as a developer of both prime foreshore residences, boasting views across the iconic Sydney Harbour, and as a strategic urban regenerator, in areas benefitting from close proximity to key transport nodes, retail hubs and education facilities. It has a long-term aim of revitalising communities and creating legacies for future generations.
Our partnership with Aqualand began in 2019, when Aqualand immersed themselves with the Rabbitohs’ Members and fans through competitions, digital activations, match day partnerships and branding opportunities. Their annual half-time activation, where Rabbitohs fans are given the chance to win a brand new $1 million AURA by Aqualand apartment, is a particular highlight during the season. "We greatly value the support we receive from the team at Aqualand. It s one of our longest standing partnerships and one which we are extremely proud of," Rabbitohs CEO, Blake Solly, said. "We’re really looking forward to continuing this wonderful partnership we have formed with the team at Aqualand and hopefully we can continue to build on it for a decade or more."
Aqualand’s MD, Jin Lin said: "We’re delighted to build on our partnership with the Rabbitohs as the club continues to foster a unique sense of community at a grass roots level. As urban regenerators, we take great pride in supporting organisations who actively foster inclusion and participation. We wish the club every success over the next three seasons."
