Five time South Sydney premiership winner 1918, 1925, 1926, 1927 and 1929, who also won three City Cups in 1921, 1924 and 1925. He also played in one other premiership decider in 1924. He captained South Sydney in three of these premiership victories. Blair, in 1927 was the NSWRL leading pointscorer.
