Peter Harold Boyne "Emu" Burge - South Sydney Player Report

Forward

FG Player - 38

Eldest brother of the Burge family. Member of the 1905 South Sydney RU premiership winning team. He was one the Wallabies to come across to League after he had broken his leg while on the Wallaby RU tour of England. Burge was paid £100 to come across to Rugby League. A great forward in the scrummage and loose. Thoroughly at home when play is strenuous. Injury hampered his League playing career.
