One time South Sydney premiership winner in 1927, who was also a member of the 1926, 1931 and 1932 premiership winning squads. He also won the 1925 City Cup with South Sydney. Harris along with Alby Why are part of the famous scenes in the 1927 Grand Final when South Sydney were tagged the "Pride of the League", before he headed over to England to play with Huddersfield. Harris was a heavily built centre, a clever player with smart footwork.
