Shibasaki was a boom youngster from Queensland who had been a regular Queensland junior representative and represented the the Australian PM XIII while in the Brisbane system. He has a stint with Newcastle before heading over to play Japanese Rugby. After two seasons returned to North Queensland to retart his rugby league career. Playing in the Queensland Cup, Shibasaki answered an injury SOS call and was brought into the South Sydney 2024 squad under a match payments strategy from the Townsville Blackhawks 2024 feeder arrangement on a week by week basis, mid season. He make his South Sydney senior grade and first grade premiership debut in the 2024 Round 10 clash against St George-Illawarra at Kogarah Jubilee Oval.
Shibasaki is a strong running utility back.
Shibaski would only play one season with South Sydney in 2024.
Shibaski would only play one senior and first grade club and premiership game with South Sydney. He returned to Townsville for the rest of the season.
