Five time South Sydney premiership winner in 1926, 1927, 1928, 1931 and 1932. He also played in the 1929 premiership winning squad, missing the final because he was on the Kangaroo tour. He captained South Sydney to premiership victory in 1932. When he was promoted to South Sydney first grade after playing for Mascot his surname was misspelt "Treweeke". After mentioning it a few times it was never changed and upon retirement he told everyone that they had misspelt his name throughout his career.
