House is a meber of the 1908 South Sydney premiership winning squad. House was also the South Sydney 1908 Second Grade captain.
House played in the first grade trials in 1908 and was assigned the captaincy of the Second Grade team in 1908. When prop Rosewell was called into the Australian team, House, also a prop playing in Second Grade and captain at the time. was called up to make his first grade debut, in the 1908 Round 3 clash against Cumberland at the RAS Showground. There were no second grade or third grade commitments that day. He played his only game to support second grade hooker Hanna, who has also been called up to replace Hennessy.
House also is shown in the 1908 South Sydney first grade team photo of available players who had played first grade.
House only played one season with South Sydney in 1908. House played the rest of the 1908 season in second grade.
