Two time South Sydney premiership winner in 1908 and 1909, who also played in the 1910 premeiership decider. He also was a member of the 1912 City Cup winning squad.
Leveson original from Sydney playing with the Fitzroys RU borough team, traveled to Grafton was playing RU in the Northern Rivers for a few years, before returning to Sydney to play for the new Sydney First Grade RU club and then Gipps 2nd Grade RU. He came across to rugby league in the inaugural season. He played in the inaugural 1908 Round first grade premiership match against North Sydney at Birchgrove Oval.
Leveson formed a leathal premiership halves combination with Arthur Butler.
Leveson played 6 seasons with South Sydney between 1908 and 1913. He played 48 first grade club premiership games, which included 46 premiership first grade premiership and 2 first grade cup games. He capatianed South Sydney in first grade for 7 games, making his captaincy debut in the 1910 Round 3 clash against Eastern Suburbs.
Leveson made his representative debut at South Sydney for the 1908 Sydney Metropolis clash against Queensland. He played 6 games for New South Wales against the Kangaroos, NZ Maoris, New Zealand and England. In 1909 he made his international debut for Australia in the 3rd Test against New Zealand.
Leveson played his final first grade premiership game in the 1913 Round 14 clash against North Sydney at North Sydney Oval. The following week he played his final first grade club game in the 1913 Round 1 City Cup clash against Balmain at Birchgrove Oval.
