Ravalawa is a Fiji junior rugby union convert, who went to Burnside High School in Christchurch NZ as part of Burnside's international rugby programme. In 2016 he was a star in the region schools competition, where he was selected to captain the Fiji rugby union U18s team. He switched to rugby league entering the Canberra system and immediately joining the Fiji Bati RLWC2017 campaign, before moving across into the St George-Illawarra system. Ravalawa was a experianced NRL winger who had already played international rugby league with Fiji before coming to South Sydney. He was signed in a single season loan arrangement early in the 2025 season to cover the backline injury crisis. He immediately made his South Sydney first grade premiership debut in the 2025 Round 3 clashs against Cronulla-Sutherland at Shark Park.
Ravalawa is a powerful running winger.
