Two time premiership winner 1908 and 1909 with South Sydney, who also played in the 1910 premiership decider for South Sydney.
Rosewell former Australian RU international, became South Sydney's first major signing in 1908 as he signed on the eve of the 1908 season kickoff. He made his first grade premiership debut in the inaugural South Sydney premiership 1908 Round 1 clash against North Sydney at Birchgrove Oval.
Rosewell played 3 seasons with South Sydney, between 1908 and 1910. He played 29 first grade premiership games. He captained South Sydney for 1 match, in the 1908 Round 9 clash against Balmain at Leichhardt Oval.
Rosewell continued his representative career with South Sydney rugby league team, by making his state rugby league debut playing in 1908 for New South Wales against New Zealand. He went on to play 2 matches for New South Wales. He made his international rugby league debut in the 1908 1st Test against New Zealand. He was a 1908-09 Kangaroo tourist, but only played 1 game on tour. When he was selected for Australia he also became a dual international.
Rosewell's final first grade premiership game was in the 1910 Premiership Final against Newtown at the RAS Showground.
