2023 NRL Premiership Round 22 Teams

South Sydney v Wests-Tigers

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their squad for Women in League round 22 of the 2023 NRL Premiership against the Wests Tigers to be played this Friday 28 July at 6pm at Scully Park in Tamworth. Rabbitohs Head Coach Jason Demetriou has named Latrell Mitchell at fullback, Jai Arrow in the front row with Jacob Host in the second row. Jed Cartwright returns to the interchange bench. Munro, Tatola, Kennar, Chee Kam, Chan-Foon, Bentley-Hape, Subloo and Kalo Kalo are out injured.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs will be paying tribute to one of the leading pioneers of women's Rugby League when they wear a jersey dedicated to South Sydney's own Maggie Moloney in round 22, the NRL's Women in League round. Miss Moloney is recognised as Australia's first female Rugby League star, mesmerizing crowds in the 1920s as a teenager. Her feats are so immense that a mural has been painted in her honour in the street in which she grew up in Redfern, as well as calls for the annual women's Dally M award to be renamed as the Maggie M Medal recognising the female player of the year each season.
