2024 - The Cyber View from the Hill

24th July 2024

Scrappy win - but a win is a win

We always seem to struggle against the Tigers. In a very sea sawing game where the lead changed 5 times, it took until the last 20 minutes before we cemeted out claim to the game, as our intesity dropped from recent weeks. A day game without the recent rain, but in a strong wind caused a lot of issues for both teams. This week it was left side attack that proved dividends with 5 tries. 7 more wins to make the finals, as the run home continues.

Johnston & Walker double

AJ cotinues to rake up the tries with his 54th double (he hold the NRL record) took his first grade premiership try tally to 195. While Cody Walker also cashed in against the Tigers with a support play double, taking his first grade try tally to 97 tries.

Fletcher double

Thomas Fletcher made a strong return to reserve grade this week scoring two well worked tries up the middle. Just when he was looking forward again, he had to leave the field with a hamstring injury.

Grossemy working hard

A unsung hero ofour U21s is captain adn French U19 international Louis Grossemy, who is working tiredsly at lock with a very high defensive rate. Its been a ough season for the U21 lads.

Donovan double

Turzah Donovan had her first hit out for the season and starred in two tries out on the wing. It has been a good early start for the girls.

200 Club

2024 has seen a new Rabbitoh 200 first grade premiership club formed. We have seen Damien Cook this week join Cody Walke, Tom Burgess and Alex Johnston in the 200 club of current players.
