The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their squad for round 21 of the 2024 NRL Premiership against the Canberra Raiders to be played this Sunday 28 July at 6:15pm at GIO Stadium. Rabbitohs interim Head Coach Ben Hornby has named Michael Chee Kam in the centres to replace Richie Kennar who is progressing through the NRL’s head injury protocol, with Jacob Host being selected in the second row. Forward Keaon Koloamatangi will play his 100th NRL game, all of which have been for South Sydney, in Sunday night’s clash with the Raiders. The Mascot Jets junior made his NRL debut for the Rabbitohs against the Storm in round four, 2020. Kennar, Arrow, L.Mitchell, Graham, Tass, Tatola, Ilias, D.Hawkins, Munro, Lovett, Kalo Kalo, Fletcher, Tsikrikas and Miller are out injured. Murray is out suspended.
South Sydney Rabbitohs will wear their alternative jersey for this match. Owner and actor Russell Crowe and actor Ryan Reynolds Wreham soccer club owner made an agreement on the set of their latest movie, that both their teams would wear similar alternative jerseys.
