Dufty was a experiance player when he came to play for South Sydney. Dufty came through the St George-Illawarra system making his NRL debut in 2017, before a short stint at Canterbury. He then headed to England for 4 seasons with Warrington, before return to Australia. He linked up with South Sydney under a NSW Cup (Reserve Grade) contract as he wanted to prove himself and was looking for a opportunity to reach 100 NRL games before he retires, while South Sydney were looking for a backup fullback. Dufty his South Sydney first grade cup debut in the 2026 Pre-Season Challenge Round 1 clash against St George-Illawarra at Wollongong Stadium. He made his senior grade premiership debut for South Sydney in the 2026 Round 1 Reserve Grade clash against Newcastle at Cessnock Showground. 2 months later Dufty was called up to make his first grade premiership debut for South Sydney when Jye Gray had to withdraw due to shoulder injury in the 2026 Round 7 clash against St George-Illawarra at Stadium Australia.
Dufty is a small in stature fullback will electric accelartation off the mark and speed to burn. He also has good passing game when he chimes in backline plays.
