One time South Sydney Reserve Grade premiership winner in 2023, who also won the NRL State Championship with South Sydney in 2023.
Duncan was born in Figtree, New South Wales, Australia, and attended Matraville Sports High School, in the South Sydney district. He was named after former South Sydney assistant coach and Australian international Gordon Tallis. He played his junior rugby league for Paddington Colts in the South Sydney District Junior Rugby Football League. He also is a former South Sydney Junior referee. Duncan played with the South Sydney juniors U19 SG Ball Cup team in 2021, before making his South Sydney senior grade premiership debut later that season in the Round 9 U21 Jersey Flegg match against Manly-Warringah at Redfern Oval. In 2022 he played in a first grade trial against North Queensland in Cairns. He made his South Sydney Reserve Grade premiership debut in the 2022 Round 3 clash against North Sydney at Stadium Australia. In 2023 made his South Sydney first grade debut in Pre-Season Challenge Round 1 clash against Manly-Warringah at the Central Coast Stadium. Midway through 2023 Duncan made his South Sydney first grade premiership debut in the Round 13 clash against Canberra at Stadium Australia.
Duncan is a very good defender, who is a ball playing lock in attack with a strong step and a uncanny turn of pace.
In 2022 Duncan made his international debut playing for Malta against Lebanon, while still playing U21s.
Duncan has been a outstanding pathways player winning the 2021 South Sydney U19 SG Ball Player of the Year. Followed in 2022 when he won the U21 Jersey Flegg South Sydney player of the year and players player of the year. In 2023 he did it again, by winning the South Sydney NSW Cup(Reserve Grade) Player of Year.
