One time South Sydney Reserve Grade premiership winning squad member in 2023.
Kennar was born in Apia Samoa but grew up in Victoria. He came up through the Melbourne system before playing with Canterbury on his way to South Sydney. He was a Australian Schoolboy representative and a junior New South Wales U16 and U18 representative. before coming to South Sydney. Kennar made his South Sydney first grade premiership and senior grade debut in the 2018 Round 1 clash against the Warriors in Perth.
Kennar is a strong running winger who has a uncanny ability to find the tryline, in his limited time in first grade.
After just one season in 2018 he left South Sydney, but returned in 2022. Kennar played 4 seasons with South Sydney. He played 30 first grade games for South Sydney, including 27 first grade premiership games and 3 first grade cup games. He played 65 senior club games for South Sydney, which included 62 senior grade premiership games. He also played an additional 2 games for South Sydney reserve grade feeder team North Sydney.
Kennar played his final first grade premiership and senior grade club game in the 2024 Round 27 clash against the Sydney Roosters at Stadium Australia.
