The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their squad for the 43rd Charity Shield match against the St George Illawarra Dragons to be played this Saturday 14 February at 8:10pm at WIN Stadium in Wollongong. Rabbitohs Assistant Coach Ben Hornby has named 12 players with NRL experience for the Club’s first hit out of the pre-season. New recruit and South Sydney junior, Bronson Garlick, will have the honour of captaining the side in the Charity Shield. Tass, Sullivan, Walker, Mitchell, B.Smith, Arrow, Graham-Taufa and Kosi are out injured. Munro is out suspended. Wighton and Duncan are on representative duties.

The curtain raiser match will see the Rabbitohs and Dragons clash in a NSW Cup trial match, with kick off scheduled for 5:45pm.
The Jersey Flegg Cup under 21s men’s team will trial against the Dragons on Saturday 14 February at 5pm at Collegians Sporting Complex in Figtree.
The SG Ball Cup under 19s men’s and the Harold Matthews Cup under 17s boys’ teams will head to New Zealand to take on the Warriors on Sunday 15 February at Bruce Pullman Park in Takanini, with the Harold Matthews Cup fixture commencing at 8am Sydney time (10am NZ time) and the SG Ball Cup match starting at 9:30am Sydney time (11:30am NZ time).
