Dodd is an English halfback who came through the St Helens system, winning the 2021 ESL premiership and kicking the winning fieldgoal in the 2023 World Club Challenge against Penrith. He came to South Sydney in 2025 in a effort to prove himself in the NRL. Dodd made his first grade club cup debut in the 2025 Round 1 Pre-Season Challenge match against Manly-Warringah at Central Coast Stadium. A few weeks later he made his South Sydney senior grade premiership debut in the Round 2 reserve grade premiership clash against St George-Illawarra at Wollongong Stadium. After missing out twice because of suspension he finally made his South Sydney first grade premiership debut in the 2025 Round 7 clash against Canterbury-Bankstown at Stadium Australia.
Dodd is a halfback with a very good short and long kicking game.
