Fifita is of Togan and Torres Straight Island decent. He was educated at Keebra Park High School on the Gold Coast. He was a established NRL, State of Origin and International player, having played over 100 NRL games and representing Queensland and Tonga before coming to South Sydney He made his way to South Sydney playing in the Brisbane and Gold Coast systems. He made his South Sydney first grade cup debut in the 2026 Round 2 Pre-Season Challenge match against Manly-Warringah at Mudgee. Two weeks later he made his South Sydney first grade premiership debut in the 2026 Round 1 premiership match against the Dolphins at Lang Park Stadium.
Fifita is a very powerful running second rower, and considered one of the most damaging ball runners in the game. Fifita has a record of being the first player born in the 2000's to play NRL and Origin.
