Mamouzelos was placed on report in 36th minute of the game for a Dangerous Tackle (Hip Drop), and was later charged by the Match Review Committee with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact, which carries a base penalty of $1000. He has since taken the early guilty plea and receives a $750 fine.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs claimed a hard-fought 28-22 victory over the St. George Illawarra Dragons in Round Seven of The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup at Accor Stadium, securing their fourth consecutive win and cementing their place among the competition's contenders. South Sydney openned the scoring immediately when a loverly short ball by Glover put Seigwalt into a gap and he sent Mazzone over to score. Bentley-Hape fails to convert. It was midway through the half when the Dragons hit back with a short ball up the middle found a gap behind the ruck for them to score under the posts. South Sydney are in again, this time from a nice offload from Williamson which saw Bentley-Happe backing up to score, and he converts his own try. South Sydney went back to back when st George-Illawarra failed to execute a kickoff and soon after a backline sweep saw Seigwalt send Mazzone over for his second in the corner. Bentley-Hape converts. The Dragons scored just before the break when the kicked in behind the line. Halftime South Sydney narrowly 16 to 12. A dropped ball and the Dragons score from the scrum movement out wide. Score are level 16 all. South Sydney broke the deadlock when Humphries led a blind side play that saw Seigwalt break clear and score a 50 metre try. A nice backline play saw Kirk score out wide. Bentley-Hape converts. A poor pass by Glover sees the Dragons score off a intercept recuding the margin to 6 with 7 minutes to play. South Sydney however hang on to record 4th victory in a row, 28 to 22.

Late Changes - Ajouz is the concussion sub. McKenna and Kite dropped off the bench. The South Sydney Rabbitohs SG Ball Cup side delivered a dominant semi-final performance at Eric Tweedale Stadium, overrunning the Parramatta Eels 36-10. The game openned with both teams feeling the pressure of a knock-out final. After a dropped kick, Parramatta almost scored, except it was ruled a double movement. South Sydney scored first when Fotu-Mola put up a bomb which was knocked back and Walters picked up the loose ball to score. Jennings failed to convert. A nother error, gave Parramatta field position, but they again failed to score when the dropped a difficult attempt over the line. After a clever dummy half run by Cody Hill, Fotu-Mola bombed on the last, Alvarez gathers and offloads to Tauaa who scored in the corner. Jennings failed to convert. South Sydney worked their way up field through a nice left side play. But it was a short ball by Moses who sent Kaberry over untouched next to the posts. Jennings converts. 14 nil. South Sydney went back to back, when they broke the line from the kickoff and Alvarez used his speed and dummies to run 80m to score. Jennings converts. Two lovely balls first by Fotu-Mola and then by Waters put Jennings into a break before he sent Ballard over in the corner. Jennings failed to convert. South Sydney went into the break with a commanding 24 bil lead. Parramatta hit back early in the second half when they spun the ball wide and found a gap to score in the corner. Soon after a dropped bomb, Parramatta scored and had narrow the gap to 14. Score now was 10 to 24. Midway through the half tension mounted, Parramatta found themselves a man short. With 15 minutes to play Parramatta were unlucky not to score again when they kicked in behind the line only to fumble grounding the ball. A great kick chase by Lyons forced a error. Then Alvarez sent Cresswell over from the ensuring scrum. Fotu-Mola failed to convert. From the short kick off Jennings gathers and run 60m to score. Fotu-Mola converts. In the last play of the game Parramatta found another player in the bin as Fotu-Mola converts the penalty goal. South Sydney running out convincing winners 36-10 and booking a place in the preliminary final.
