Late Changes - C.Hill was the concussion sub. Frame dropped off the bench. South Sydney headed over to Fiji to play for the Manoa Thompson Bowl and the final game of the season. The Rabbitohs openned the scoring from a nice pass from Poynton to Wright who scored out wide. 10 minutes later Fiji hit back and score in the corner. A kick in behind the line from a scrum saw Fiji in again. South Sydney hit back soon after with their own scrum move which saw Poynton score out wide. The scores remained deadlocked at halftime 10 all. South Sydney opened the scoring with Poynton once again chiming into the backline and scoring out wide. South Sydney went back to back when Mellars caught a high ball and sent Rooke over near the posts. South Sydney now lead 22 to 10. A dropped ball from a bomb saw the Silktails score under the posts. A bomb on full time saw the Silktails saw again out wide as the level the scores 22 all. And thats how the game and season ended, with South Sydney retaining the Manoa Thomposn Bowl.

Late Changes - After a tough opening period, it was Illawarra who opened the scoring out wide. South Sydney hit back when Yaranamua push through the line and offloaded to Ritchie to score. Sustained pressure saw Yaranamua with one of her classic cutout passes to send Lyons over in the corner. Illawarra hit back on the stroke of halftime to send the teams into the break level at 8 all. South Sydney got off to a pefect start when Ahokava-Loto'aniu offloaded to send Ritchie in for her second of the afternoon. Soon after Mailngi sent Yaranamua over from a great crash ball try. Illawarra hit back when a lucky mid field bounce evaluded Hopoate at full back and the Steelers were in under the posts. But some outstanding defence saw South Sydney hangg and win 18 to 14.
